In recent months, conservative states like New Hampshire, Iowa and Vermont have passed the bill to allow gays to wed, leaving liberal Californians confused behind the decision of a normally progressive and lifestyle-friendly state.
In Los Angeles, some 15,000 protestors crowed the streets while chanting, "Gay, straight, Black, white-same struggle, same fight!" and "no justice, no peace-equal rights now!" repotts Associated Press.
