Sad story of Javon Jackson, who was was shot just hours after he graduated with an engineering degree from UB this month.A 20-year old Amherst man was arrested late this morning(May 27th) in the fatal shooting of Jackson. DaMario Cordelius was charged with second-degree murder after confessing to shooting Jackson, 23, a University Heights resident, about 3 a.m. May 10 on Main Street while he was out celebrating his graduation hours early.
